Book 17: The Rent Collector
This book is apparently a fictional account based on true events. I found some parts of it hard to believe, though it was a good read.

I just finished this and it was much better than I expected. I notice that books like this often have a big awkward hole where God is supposed to be. I think the ancestors did a much better job filling it than "fate" or "the universe" generally does. It was a good story with pretty good writing. Glad I read it, thanks.
